I have always wanted to be a writer. When I was ten years old I wrote in my diary that I was going to be a writer one day. I’ve kept journals since I was a child, usually writing when I was sad about something in my life or when things weren’t going so well for me. There are some entries that are happy, but when life is great I’m enjoying it too much to write. Strange. Lately I’ve been writing stories. And working on a novel. I wrote and published a cookbook “Sittin’ Bayou Makes Me Hot!” which has inspired me to write even when I’m happy.

I’ve owned a restaurant Ragin’ Cajun for 20 years. That “job” paid the bills and has now given me the opportunity to write. Go to for more info on the restaurant.
